Turkesterone Full Review: Everything You Need To Know About This Plant Steroid

Turkesterone is one of many new bodybuilding supplements that’s less harmful than the old school ones, but still derives significant benefits.

In this full Turkesterone review I’m going to tell you everything you need to know, covering it all in simple detail so that you know exactly where you stand with supplements like this.

SARMs were banned and are now difficult to get hold of. Prohormones went that way several years ago as well, and everyone knows how bad anabolic steroids can be.

So now, people are turning to more natural supplements, including some fantastic new peptides, and naturally occurring plant and animal steroids that have the potential to trigger some of the same effects as the more damaging anabolic agents used in bodybuilding.

With its growing popularity, and the desire to get ripped as quickly as possible, it’s no wonder that supplements like Turkesterone, offering potential steroidal advantage without the side effects, and now being so widely used. Let’s take a look everything you need to know in detail now.

What Exactly Is Turkesterone?

Turkesterone is an Ecdysteroid. These are naturally occurring steroids found in plants and some insects.

Steroidal hormones found in plants are given a subclass name: Phytoecdysteroids.

Turkesterone is actually a synthetic analogue of steroidal hormone found in several types of insect. You know how insects can develop huge strength, and have hardened shells and strong skeletal frames, well that’s because of the power of these naturally occurring steroidal hormones.

Turkesterone is an extract from a perennial flower called Ajuga turkestanica, which grows in many parts of central Asia. Found to contain significant amounts of Ecdysteroid derivatives, Turkesterone is one of the most potent natural steroidal substances available.

In fact, 14 different natural steroids have been found in this one type of plant, with the most potent steroids being Turkesterone and 20-hydroxyecdysone.

Turkesterone is thought to have the following effects in the body:

  • Helps balance nitrogen content in muscle tissue
  • Reduces catabolism
  • Produces higher levels of creatine phosphate and ATP
  • Modulates androgenic activity in key glands

How Ecdysteroids Work (Are They Like Anabolic Steroids?)

The million dollar question therefore is do anabolic steroid extracts from plants and insects like Turkesterone actually work in the body in the same way as androgenic anabolic steroids?

The jury is out in a way, as formal research is so far inconclusive. Some studies, notably all animal studies rather than human, have found both anabolic effects, and failed to note them as well.

The key thing you need to understand is that these steroids do not bind to the androgen receptors in the same way as human androgens do.

However, that’s not the whole story and some studies have shown that these natural steroids do activate the androgen receptors even though they don’t bind to them.

But overall, no, these are not as potent as human steroids, but they do seem to trigger some of the same effects.

Turkesterone Muscle Growth Potential Explained

What we have here then guys is a potentially powerful and natural steroidal supplement that can activate the androgen receptors without fully binding to them and producing side effects.

Now that’s going to limit the effects in the body somewhat, but, the anecdotal evidence does appear to show the following qualities:

  • Significant muscle growth
  • Faster muscle growth
  • More defined muscle growth
  • Faster muscle recovery
  • Stronger adaption of oxygen recycling
  • Ability to recover faster between exercises
  • Faster postexercise recovery times
  • Faster burning of fat cells

Put all that together and you got one hell of a natural potential supplement. But you have to understand that you need to fulfil its potential by working hard.

This is also the case with SARMs, you can’t just let this stuff work because you won’t see any results. You have to hurt the muscles, you have to work out, you have to back out with incredible diet and nutrition, so that you can really maximize the effects that these plant they steroids can produce above natural.

Overall though, it can be considered as activating in the human body in a similar way to testosterone does, but not directly. This is actually a bit like some SARMs, but they still have strong androgenic effects in muscle tissue despite not having any androgenic side effects in the body generally.

How exactly does it do all this?

Well, Turkesterone enhances a fundamental step of protein synthesis, namely, the ability of mRNA to be translated.

It also stimulates the uptake of key amino acids, specifically Leucine, into muscle cells. This crucial amino acid is fundamental to muscle protein synthesis, which helps to maximize post exercise anabolism.

How To Use Turkesterone

Turkesterone is really easy to use, and I actually suggest that you use it as part of supplement stacks rather than on its own.

This is also the advice I give with SARMs or any other type of bodybuilding supplement. The power is in the stack, and you always derive more benefits by using complimentary compounds.

Put it this way, if something doesn’t quite hit the mark, another thing in the stack might. Maximizing your chances of the supplements fueling the growth, power, or fat cutting, that you are looking to achieve.

Because it’s never been tested on humans fully for bodybuilding purposes, this supplement can only be dosed anecdotally.

Most of the discussion around Turkesterone for muscle growth benefits seems to talk about 1000 mg per day. That’s what I used the first six weeks of the 12 week cycle I experimented with.

However, that’s not the whole story, and I bumped this up to 1500 mg after the first six weeks. From everything I’ve read, and with my own experiences, around 2000 mg per day is perfectly reasonable and does not derive any significant side effects.

Personally, I split the dose. 1000 mg in the morning, then 500 mg in the late afternoon. At the start the cycle, 500 mg for each.

I stacked it with caffeine on gym days, protein shakes, and also Ecdysterone, another natural plant steroid which is easier to obtain. I figured that I would maximize my gains and benefits by doing this.

Turkesterone Before & After: What’s Realistic?

Let’s talk about those Turkesterone before and after claims. Please forget any images you see because you have no way of verifying if they were results derived from this natural plant steroid.

All you can do is look at what people are saying. If lots of people are telling you that they did get better gains than they could naturally, and it seemed to enhance recovery times and fat cutting, then you should sit up and take notice.

In terms of before and after, what’s realistic is very personal. It will come down to what you stack it with, how hard you work, how you are naturally, and what your nutrition is like.

But for me, what I can say is you will gain more muscle than you would naturally. You will also cut more fat, recover faster, and your muscle tissue will be harder than it would be just doing natural bodybuilding.

In terms of what studies say, there’s not a lot out there about human muscle building effects, however, a 10 week study did find the following:

“A 10-week intervention study of strength training of young men (n = 46) was carried out. Different doses of ecdysterone-containing supplements have been administered during the study to evaluate the performance-enhancing effect. Analysis of blood and urine samples for ecdysterone and potential biomarkers of performance enhancement has been conducted. To ensure the specificity of the effects measured, a comprehensive screening for prohibited performance-enhancing substances was also carried out. Furthermore, the administered supplement has been tested for the absence of anabolic steroid contaminations prior to administration. Significantly higher increases in muscle mass were observed in those participants that were dosed with ecdysterone.” (Source)

Turkesterone Side Effects & Warnings

With this significant potential for muscle building through protein synthesis and enhancement, you would think that Turkesterone, even though it’s not an anabolic agent, would have side effects.

The thing is, in the study I just mentioned not one side effect was noted in 10 weeks. Blood work was normal. Kidney and liver function was also normal. And crucially, testosterone levels were also unchanged.

All I would say from my own personal experiences with this supplement is that you can get some nausea. But that specifically in the beginning, and especially if you take the capsules on an empty stomach. I would never recommend you take supplements on an empty stomach.

Take your first capsule in the morning after some food, and your second and third through the day in a similar way, and you shouldn’t have any problems. Basically, this is very well tolerated.

My Experience Using Turkesterone For 12 Weeks

I don’t want to go into too much detail about my own experiences using Turkesterone over 12 weeks.

The thing is, talking about me doesn’t really help you. You’re reading this because you want to improve your physique, not wanting to know how I improved mine.

Plus, everything I tell you here is anecdotal. You have no way of believing if I’m telling you is true. That’s the same with anything to do with online bodybuilding advice and discussion.

So all I’m going to do here is quickly tell you what happened over 12 weeks:

1. I definitely packed on more lean muscle than I had in the previous 12 weeks naturally. Same routine, same diet, but more progress.

2. There was an anabolic effect. I felt stronger, more positive, able to complete my routines, all the things that happen when you take androgenic SARMs. However, to keep your enthusiasm been checked, wasn’t as pronounced as when using SARMs.

3. I recovery times were definitely faster. I had more energy after my workouts and was ready to go again much more quickly.

Turkesterone Vs Ecdysterone

Turkesterone is very similar in structure to Ecdysterone, and in fact the two are pretty much interchangeable in terms of their construction and abilities.

However, anecdotally, people seem to have better responses to Turkesterone. I don’t know why that is, there isn’t the research to back that feeling up.

For me, Turkesterone is definitely the one I would go for if you want to choose between them, or you could stack both of them if you want.

But personally, I wouldn’t stack them first time out, because you want to see which one is best for you and you can’t do that if you are using them both.

Turkesterone Vs SARMs

Don’t bother trying to compare Turkesterone cycle effects to SARMs cycle effects. They are just completely different animals.

Although some SARMs can be mild, they are generally far more potent than natural steroids, and most peptides.

For me, Turkesterone and other similar plant steroid extracts are halfway house between natural bodybuilding and using androgenic SARMs.

Finding Good Quality Turkesterone For Sale

So the conclusion of my review is that Turkesterone can produce good before and after results.

However, you can’t just rely on a single cycle of Turkesterone to prove that. For me, you’ll want to use it for 12 weeks, break for four weeks, and then use it for another 12 weeks to get the best picture of whether it can work for you as an anabolic agent.

One of the biggest problems with any bodybuilding supplement is finding good quality chemicals for sale in the first place.

Turkesterone needs to be high quality to do the job. Thankfully, it’s available from Swiss Chems, a reputable supplement seller I’ve used for over three years.

At Swiss Chems, you can buy 60 capsules, each dosing 500 mg, for just $60. Basically one buck per capsule.

Now, you’ll need to capsules per day, so it’s going to work out at $60 per month. If you up the dose to 1500 mg, then it’s going to be a shorter course durations for your money.

But put all that together, and it’s still a very low-cost way of seeing over 12 weeks if Turkesterone could work for you to stimulate anabolic effects without the side effects of androgenic SARMs.

If you’re looking for an alternative, then you could try Gorilla Mind Turkesterone supplement. It’s another high-quality supplement to consider.
