If you think you’re going to face a hair follicle drug test, or perhaps you are panicking because you are definitely going to have one, then in your search, you’re going to read about a couple of ways you can flush out toxins and pass it. You probably know that hair strand test is the hardest drug test to pass.
I’m going to tell you about both those methods, plus do a proper macujo method review, to tell you about that method, and how it compares.
I’m going to talk you through the basics of how toxins get into hair, and what happens during a hair follicle drug test. I’m also going to tell you about the hair follicle methods which will not help you to pass a hair follicle drug test.
The truth is, if you want to learn how to pass a hair drug test, there are only a couple of ways to do it. And for me, there is actually only one way to pass a hair follicle drug test guaranteed. So let me explain everything you to need to know.
How Drug Metabolites Get Into Your Hair
Let’s take smoking weed as an example. You have a joint and when the cannabis goes into your body, the process of converting it, that gets you high, leaves behind residual cells, called metabolites.
These float around your bloodstream, and gradually work their way out through your sweat, stools, and urine over hours, days, and sometimes weeks. In fact, with cannabis, it can take a couple of months if you are a chronic daily user.
While they are in your bloodstream, they can sometimes get up into the blood in your scalp. They get trapped in the hair follicles, and then when the hair grows through the root, that metabolite can be trapped inside the hair shaft.
You see, the shaft of hair consists of an inner layer, and then thousands of tiny scales which close over the top of it. As the hair grows out of the follicle, the metabolites get stuck under those scales.
Which means, the only way you can remove drug metabolites from your hair is to use very intensive chemicals that can open up the scales, flush out the toxins, and then help your hair repair itself again.
How Long Do Drugs Stay In Your Hair
As you may now have already realized, the question about how long do drugs stay in your hair is simple. They will stay in your hair for as long as the hair is in your head.
No matter where along the shaft the metabolites have been trapped, once they are, the only way to remove them is to cut your hair. However, in terms of learning how to pass a hair drug test, that’s not quite the whole story.
Legally, a drug testing company is only allowed to sample the past 90 days of your history. That means they cut a piece of hair from your head, and then they have tested the length of the relates to the most recent 90 days.
They can’t go back any further, and they can’t report on what they find further along the hair shaft they’ve sampled either.
If you haven’t taken anything in the past 90 days, then you don’t have to worry at all. You will pass a hair follicle drug test guaranteed. But if you have taken anything in the past 90 days, then your only solution is to make sure that the hair you have on your head from the previous 90 days does not contain drug metabolites.
Shaving Your Hair To Pass A Drug Test
One of the classic strategies that people will tell you that you can employ to pass a hair follicle test guaranteed, is to simply shave all your hair. That way, they can’t take a sample can they, so that have to pass you.
The exact opposite is true. If they can’t take hair from your head, they will try and take one from another part of your body that is long enough. If you have also blatantly shaved your entire body to stop them taking a hair of the right length, then it’s obvious you’re trying to evade the drug test.
So they won’t be able to do it, and that will be reported back to whoever has paid for the drug test. Which means your potential new employer gets a report that when you went for the drug test, you suddenly decided to shave off all your body hair. Do you think they going to employ you?
Plus, if it’s for another reason, like a law enforcement test, they will simply do other types of a drug test on you instead.
So the strategy of shaving your hair off to avoid a hair follicle drug test is, to be honest, completely nuts, and could just make it more obvious you’re trying to hide something.
How To Pass A Hair Drug Test: The Jerry G Method
One of the two main methods for passing a hair follicle drug test is called the Jerry G method. Reputedly, it’s a method named after the person who created it.
There is nothing particularly clever about it. It’s like a nuclear weapon on your hair, and then you have to repair the damage enough to pass the test without arousing any suspicion.
It basically consists of hammering your hair with bleach and ammonia, to blast open the hair strands and get rid of the toxins.
And it can work. But the problem with it is that it leaves your hair in such a state you that you then have to dye it, and desperately try to then get into some sort condition before it all drops out.
In fact, there are reports online of people literally having scalp burns and losing their hair trying to do the Jerry G method. It’s made worse by the fact you have to do it several times to get rid of all the toxins.
Now I don’t know about you, but I’m not that crazy. I’m not going to do something that could leave me with burns on my head and patchy hair, that could be a problem for months, unless I was seriously desperate.
Plus, there’s no reason to bother with the destructive Jerry G method, when a less invasive hair detox for drug test success works even better.
The Macujo Method Review: Pass Hair Follicle Drug Test Guaranteed
The Jerry G method could destroy your scalp and hair. Home remedies for a hair drug test, like washing your hair with lime juice, or using baking soda, they are all untrue.
You have to use products that will open up the scales that surround the hair shaft, and that is aggressive enough to get rid of all the toxins without destroying the hair shaft, and then use products to close up and keep the hair in a good condition.
The only hair detox method I’ve ever known that does that is called the Macujo method. I’ve used it myself, a couple of years ago for a job I went for, and I can tell you it works. And my hair wasn’t damaged at all.
But it is invasive. You have to be careful with the materials you are going to use. It’s also time-consuming because you need to do it several times in the days leading up to your test, to make sure all the drug toxins are washed away.
Plus, it is also expensive. Very expensive. You will need a combination of specialist products that total over $200.
But if you are going for a hair follicle drug test, then it’s going to be a job worth having, or you’re looking at rescuing yourself from the situation like keeping yourself on probation. For me, $200 is a small investment when it’s put up against something like that.
Macujo Method Instructions
You will need the following ingredients for the macujo method:
- Old Style Aloe Toxin Rid Shampoo
- Zydot Ultra Clean Shampoo (you can buy the Aloe Rid&Zydot combo here.)
- White Vinegar
- Tide Detergent
- Clean and Clear Pink (or any other shampoo with salicylic acid)
The steps to complete the Macujo method are involved, and you do need to follow them in the correct order.
On top of that, you will have to do it several times, it’s recommended to do it on at least the three days before your drug test, and a couple of days before that as well if possible. Ideally, if you are a regular drug user, you need to be doing the week before the test, so seven times.
To complete the Macujo method, you will need a large sink. Because you’re going to have to wash your hair a lot, or alternatively you could use the bath. You’ll need a good supply of warm water as well.
Because of the invasiveness of some of the chemicals, you’re going to be using, you’ll also want to get your hands on some goggles, plus I would suggest you wear rubber gloves.
You will also need something like a swimming cap or shower cap, to keep the stuff you going to put on your hair off your face and out of your eyes, while it’s working.
- Wet your hair with warm water. Then liberally apply good quality vinegar, like Heinz vinegar to your head. Work it in so that the hair is completely covered, and also the scalp. It might sting a bit, but it’s not going to damage. Just keep out of your eyes.
- Now you use a salicylic shampoo on the hair as well, something like Clean & Clear pink. Again, working it thoroughly into the damp hair, and leave it on with the vinegar.
- Don’t worry how much it burning, put a shower cap on and let it work its way into the hair follicles and your scalp for half an hour.
- After half an hour has passed, rinse your hair thoroughly using plenty of warm water.
- You will now need to use original formula Aloe Rid shampoo. Again, work it in thoroughly, massage it in for quite a long time, and then rinse it out of your hair twice.
- The final step is to get a few drops of Tide detergent and work that into your hair as well. Keep doing it until your hair is squeaky and feels clean.
- The final extra step of this head detox for a drug test, the thing to do on the last day, after the final time you do the Macujo method, and just before you go off to your hair follicle drug test, is to wash your hair thoroughly using Zydot Ultra Clean shampoo. This will make sure no loose toxins are on your head.
So as you can see, it is a lot of work, quite expensive, and you will need the hard to get, original formula Aloe Rid shampoo. You will see people online claiming to sell the original stuff, but that probably was actually sold years ago, and what you are buying is a fake.
In fact, you will regularly see Aloe Rid up for sale on Amazon and eBay at really high prices. I’m telling you, that it’s just normal shampoo in fake bottles.
It’s cost them a few dollars to make them, but when they are selling them for over a hundred dollars, or even more, and you can see why they would do it.
But you can get the same formula from a company who recreated it, and it’s now called Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo. It’s not cheap, but the macujo method will not work without it, and you will never pass a hair follicle drug test unless you buy it. You can purchase the Aloe Rid& Zydot Combo straight from the manufacturer.
Can’t I Just Use Zydot Ultra Clean Without Aloe Toxin Rid?
Zydot Ultra Clean is a very good quality toxin removing shampoo. But the crucial thing here is that it does not open up the hair shafts first. Unless they are opened up, then there’s no way you can flush those toxins out and get rid of them.
That’s why it should only be used as a final step on the day of the test. It simply is not a proper hair detox for a drug test. So no, you can not do the Macujo method with Aloe Toxin rid.
Any method, and in fact Zydot’s own marketing, that tells you it’s all you need to pass a hair follicle drug test, is not telling you the truth. It’s a great insurance policy, but on its own totally useless.
How To Pass A Hair Follicle Test FAQs
So there you go, this was my macujo method review in detail. You know exactly how to pass a hair drug test, and you now also know that no other method works without potentially destroying your hair.
You can’t rely on home remedies, and you can’t just rely on specialist shampoos. You have to do the steps to open up the hair shafts and flush out the toxins.
I want to finish by covering a few frequently asked questions. These are ones I’ve been asked a lot, and I think it’s worth answering them here.
How far does a hair follicle drug test go back?
As I mentioned in my Macujo method review, a hair follicle drug test goes back 90 days. Drug toxins will stay in your hair for as long as the hair is on your head, and if you frequently use drugs, that record will be shown throughout the length of the hair.
However, legally, only the most recent 90 days can be tested for the presence of drug metabolites. So it literally doesn’t matter how long your hair is, or how the test is conducted, only 90 days history will ever be taken into account.
Is there any natural Hair detox for a drug test?
The only way you can detox your hair naturally is to stop taking in drug toxins. Then after 90 days, you will be naturally detoxified. If you get your hair cut as well, then there will literally be no trace, but you have to stay drug-free for at least 90 days.
Does dying your hair help pass a drug test?
Although hair dye sometimes contains bleach, which can partially remove some of the toxins, just dying your hair is never going to be enough to remove drug toxins, even as a moderate smoker or user. The only way that you can pass a hair follicle drug test guaranteed is to use the Macujo method.
How much does a hair follicle test kit cost?
Hair follicle drug test kits are very reliable. They will test for the five main groups of metabolites, and the results are almost 100% accurate. However, they aren’t cheap. They cost around $100.
But this is because you have to collect the sample, and then send it off to be tested in a lab, so you are paying for that expertise once your hair arrives at the lab for sample testing.
How to read hair follicle test results
When you pay to have a hair follicle test kit done, you will be given details for logging into your website to receive your results. Or for some companies, you will receive the results by email. For each tested drug class, you will receive a positive or negative result.
On top of that, there will be an assessment, based on the quantity found, as to whether the user is occasional, regular, or daily. Basically, you’ll get the exact same type of results that a company would.
Can African-Americans pass a hair drug test?
I’ve received lots of messages from African-Americans about passing hair follicle drug tests. The bottom line here is that hair is the same construction for everyone.
I’ve had reports from a few people who I know are African-American, who have followed the Macujo method instructions, and they have passed hair follicle test. In fact, two of those people even had dreadlocks, so it’s not about anything more than the ability of the products used to open up the hair shafts and flush out the toxins.
