Dr. Gail Croall, chief medical officer for OptumHealth Care Solutions, has been named to the board of directors of DMAA: The Care Continuum Alliance. Croall’s appointment won unanimous approval from DMAA members at the organization’s annual business meeting.
Tracy L. Rich has joined the Guardian life Insurance Company of America (Guardian) as general counsel and corporate secretary. Rich joins Guardian from Phoenix Companies, where he most recently was executive vice president, general counsel, and secretary. He previously held general counsel roles both at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. and Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Co. and has more than 30 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors.
John McGuire, AIF, has joined the board of the Chicago-area chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the nation’s largest NAIFA chapter. McGuire has been senior regional sales manager for Securian Retirement since 2002, marketing Securian’s retirement plans through financial advisers to employers in Illinois and neighboring states.
Lockton Dunning Benefits welcomes three benefits experts to the Dallas-based health and welfare consulting company. Steve Bohannon is senior vice president of strategy, focusing his efforts on developing and deploying innovative solutions for clients through total plan management. He has nearly 25 years of experience in the commercial human resources services industry and previously was an independent consultant. Kevin Seelman is vice president and team lead and specializes in servicing clients in the health care industry. David Hinckley is senior account executive and team lead. Hinckley most recently served as a manager for Ernst & Young’s health and welfare practice in Dallas, and he also previously consulted with Watson Wyatt.
Bob Hayworth has been promoted to executive vice president at Lockton. Hayworth has been a leader in Lockton’s Kansas City benefit operation since he joined the team in June 2003 as chief operations officer. Thanks in part to Hayworth’s leadership, Lockton Benefits in Kansas City has more than doubled its growth in his six years with the organization. Hayworth has more than 25 years in the insurance industry.
