SmileMaxSM Network new provider for dental PPO plan

HOUSTON, October 28, 2009 —  American General Life Companies’ (American General) Employee Benefit Solutions division announced that it will be converting to the SmileMaxSM network effective January 1, 2010, for in-force business, while new business was converted to the network on September 1, 2009.

Changing its PPO provider to the SmileMax network increases provider locations, gives greater flexibility, and results in fewer out-of-pocket expenses for employers and employees alike. “Our new, larger network offers more provider locations than ever before, delivering the comfort of choice, while reducing both client costs and concerns,” said Donna Fahey, senior vice president, Employee Benefit Solutions. “The flexible plan design also ensures that employers can alter the plan to fit their needs.”
