Mercer consultants will outline the implications of the H1N1 virus for businesses and HR departments, offer workforce assistance strategies and discuss preventative measures.      Speakers will include Mercer consultants Linda Havlin, Worldwide Partner, Health & Benefits; Rosaline Chow Koo, Worldwide Partner, Health & Benefits; Bruce Finley, Worldwide Partner, Workforce Communication & Change; Russ Robbins, MD, Principal, Health & Benefits; and Danielle Dorling, Senior Associate, Human Resource Effectiveness.
Mercer has launched a special website, www.mercer.com/h1n1, to provide links to helpful resources and to provide some practical tips to help companies prepare for a possible pandemic. These tips relate to crisis leadership, employee communications, skills inventory of critical business functions, and the review of HR policies such as employee insurance coverage, travel restrictions and evacuations, sick leave, working remotely, and preventive health measures.
