As an alternative to contact lenses, the enhanced plans cover eyeglasses with a low co‐pay, including single‐vision, bifocal and trifocal lenses, and offer generous allowances for progressive lenses and frames.
All AlwaysCare vision plans include access to comprehensive eye exams, set pricing for lenses and special discounts on optical materials for extra purchases of lenses and coatings, frames, contact lenses and other products. These discounts may be used in conjunction with insurance transactions for non‐covered services as well as with additional purchases.
