Recently I asked coaches in the
Wellcoaches community to submit a list of ten ways in which they want to thrive. Diane is dealing with some challenging health issues and asked me for a series of coaching sessions to work on her health and life satisfaction. After our fourth session, Diane sent the following response:
Dear Meg,
Here are my goals from our last session. The coaching session was awesome! Thank you for sharing your observations and acknowledgements regarding my progress. Words can't describe what it meant to me.
Goal: I will take my vitamins & supplements on a more consistent basis – daily - morning, mid-day, late afternoon, and bedtime.
Goal: I will be mindful of my water intake – daily - especially the first half of the day, in order to support optimal hydration.
Goal: I will meditate & do one other type of energy work daily.
Goal: I will continue inspirational reading at bedtime in order to support my emotional & spiritual health. (e.g. Attitudes of Gratitude, The Power of Now, The Four Agreements, Note to Self)
Goal: I will visit the Positivity website in order to support positive thinking.
A long-time friend recently told me, "You seem poised for something great to happen!" While that was exciting for me to hear, I realize that I feel like I've already arrived at that great happening. The entire Wellcoaches training and certification process, and your coaching sessions, have been an integral part of that arrival. Kudos and gratitude!
P.S. Regarding the Positivity book - I've located Barbara Fredrickson's book on Amazon, found her in Wikipedia, and have visited her lab website and the University of North Carolina. As a psychology major, I can't get enough of this stuff!
All blessings,
Diane
